About Data Train

Data Train—the cross-disciplinary graduate program for Research Data Management (RDM) and Data Science (DS) of the U Bremen Research Alliance (UBRA)—enhances competencies in RDM and DS.

Launched in 2021 in Bremen, Germany, it covers the entire data-value chain and provides essential skills in data literacy, RDM, and DS, preparing the next generation of scientists for a data-heavy future of research in academia and beyond.

Data Train Team

Data Train consists of enthusiastic lecturers from member institutions of the U Bremen Research Alliance who voluntarily develop and teach courses based on their academic expertise.

Data Train is associated with the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), as well as the Research Data Working Group oft the U Bremen Research Alliance, the Data Science Center at the University of Bremen and BYRD (Bremen Early Career Researcher Development).
