As part of the activities of the Alliance, the U Bremen Research Alliance (UBRA), the U Bremen and the National Contact Point “Climate, Energy, Mobility” , invited to the U Bremen Research Alliance information event “Funding opportunities in Horizon Europe – Climate, Energy, Mobility” on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 10 -12.00 am. In this information event, introduction to the funding opportunities was given and a look at the calls for proposals for 2024 was taken.
Cluster 5 in Horizon Europe offers many different calls in the area of "Climate, Energy, Mobility ". Whichever the participants experience level or contact with Horizon Europe and Cluster 5 had been so far, all necessary information was delivered. We started from the beginning and explained how the EU's framework program for research and innovation - Horizon Europe - is structured and what opportunities there are to participate. In particular, participants gained an overview of Cluster 5 "Climate, Energy, Mobility".
In tthis workshop, we focussed on call topics for 2024, so that there was enough preparation time for a possible application. First calls for proposals for 2024 open in mid-September 2023, with submission deadlines ending in January 2024.
The information event was jointly delivered by Antje Knepper, Dr. Mariana Maicu and David Doerr of the National Contact Point, along with faculty members of U Bremen and UBRA.
