Welcome to the state of Bremen

The Welcome Center of the U Bremen Research Alliance supports international and national researchers from PhD level on, employees and guests with their families before and during their stay in Bremen regardless of the length of their stay or how the stay is financed. As a central service centre, we provide advice on non-academic and practical issues to make your stay in Bremen or Bremerhaven as pleasant and easy as possible - regardless of whether you are staying for one month or several years.
We are there to help and advise you. We offer personal or digital support right from the start. One focus is on referral counselling and helping you to help yourself. A comprehensive programme of events and services will help you make a fresh start. A wide range of administrative and social services can be offered via a broad network of internal and external partners.
