IJCAI-ECAI 2026 is specifically targeting companies with a dedicated Industry Day. On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the international AI conference in Bremen will offer a compact program on artificial intelligence in practice. The focus will be on insights from well-known companies, interaction with the international AI community, and access to the exhibition.
The Industry Day shows that IJCAI-ECAI 2026 is not only a meeting place for the international AI research community. It also offers concrete connections to business practice. Company representatives will gain an overview of current AI applications, technological infrastructures, and business challenges. At the same time, the day offers opportunities for interaction with the international AI community and access to the exhibition. The program includes contributions from DeepL, T-Systems, team neusta, CONTACT Software, and SAP, as well as an interactive session with Bremen-based AI startups.
AI in Practice: From Real-Time Translation to Industrial Cloud
Under the title “Breaking Down Language Barriers: How to Translate Docs and Live Voices at Scale,” DeepL will provide insights into the current state of AI-powered real-time translation. The presentation will show how DeepL addresses complex research challenges to break down global communication barriers. The talk will be complemented by interactive live demonstrations of scalable technologies for voice and document translation.
Under the title “Industrial AI Cloud: Sovereign AI Empowering a European Ecosystem,” T-Systems will present the Industrial AI Cloud as a sovereign AI infrastructure for a European ecosystem. The presentation will show how the platform combines sovereign operations in Germany, 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, and a growing European partner ecosystem. It will also demonstrate how the platform supports applications in engineering and industry, including European foundation models such as SOOFI, high-fidelity digital twins, and real-time physical predictions.
In the interactive startup session “From Business Challenge to AI Solution,” three Bremen-based AI startups will bring their current business challenges to the stage: Count from Above, ellamind, and prokube. The founders will introduce their companies, explain the problems they solve, and provide insights into their entrepreneurial development. The focus in each case will be on a specific business challenge that the startup is currently working on. This is where the IJCAI community comes in: researchers, AI experts, and company representatives are invited to contribute ideas, share relevant approaches, and discuss how AI can help address these challenges.

Registration for Companies: Now Open
Access to the exhibition is included in the ticket. There, companies will meet sponsors and exhibitors from technology, research, and knowledge transfer. The exhibition thus provides a compact overview of relevant players in the international AI community and creates direct access to discussions about collaboration, recruiting, knowledge transfer, technological solutions, and companies’ own AI projects.
The Industry Day will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, as part of IJCAI-ECAI 2026 in Bremen. Participation costs US$150.
