Horizon Europe - the European Union's new framework program for research and innovation
The European Union's new framework program for research and innovation, "Horizon Europe", started at the beginning of 2021. Bremen researchers were already extremely successful in the previous program. In order to build on the successes and look together at the new program, the Ministry for Science and Ports and the University of Bremen, together with the U Bremen Research Alliance, invited to an online kick-off event on March 24, 2021. The event was aimed primarily at researchers from all disciplines, interested parties from companies and from application management. With over 250 registrations, the online event met with great interest.
The focus of the event was on three 45-minute lectures by experts from the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi). The participants' questions were answered directly by the KoWi lecturers.
The lectures dealt with the political framework and structure of Horizon Europe, the program lines of the European Research Council and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions under Horizon Europe, as well as funding opportunities for collaborative research.
The recording of the event and the three presentations are available below. The event was held in German.
