The areas of Research Data management, Data science, and Digitization are topics at focus of the members of the U Bremen Research Alliance. Proof of this development include the Bremen Leibniz Science Campus "Digital Public Health", the founding of the Data Science Centers (DSC at the University of Bremen, the establishment of the cross- disciplinary and cross- institutional doctoral training program Data Train - Training in Research Data Management and Data Science, and the active participation of members in eight of the nineteen projects selected for the establishment of a National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). Bremen is thus one of the most successful NFDI locations in a nationwide comparison. In this context, the U Bremen Research Alliance has published a white paper. It outlines the current status as well as fields of action for the cross-disciplinary establishment of a cooperative Research Data Management in the U Bremen Research Alliance.
